Household Distribution

If only every NRI could adopt a village in India! 

R Household1. Household articles distributed*.  Albana’s old sarees were distributed to elderly ladies in the village.

2. Land for ration shop is donated by Rani.  Acknowledgement plaque!

3. Vocational Training Classes.  Teachers from Chennai conducted workshop to show how detergent can be made at home. This was arranged by Vijayan Chinnappan.

4. 20 feet x 500 feet road has been given from Rani’s land to enable commute to back side of her land.  2 additional roads have also been given for the village purpose.

*Sumithrin David provided funds to move used articles from Maryland to Chennai. With a cost of $1000 2 pallets were shipped.  The shipping company suggested document clearance through their agent which happened to be bogus demanded bribe.  Rani personally undertook the task, cleared customs without any bribe.  Thanks to Mr. Babu at the Chennai harbor facility.
