There are a number of facilities for the totally visually impaired on major cities, but it is the villages that are not catered to. Kalaaksharam goal is to reach out to them and train them in Carnatic music, and prepare music albums. For this purpose a new Innova was purchased. Project is at a standstill because these participants want daily wages to provide for their families.
